- 8 Milky Way candy bars (the regular size, 1.86-2oz)
1/2 cup butter
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
Add 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups of sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
Add 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
And add 1 cup marshmallow creme
Melt candy bars and 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan over very slow heat, stirring frequently. Once totally melted, remove from heat and set aside.
In a too large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the sugar and 1/2 cup of softened butter until light. Add eggs, mix well. Add the salt and baking soda to the buttermilk and add to the butter/sugar mixture. And then Add the flour and mix until well combined.
Add the melted candy bars and add vanilla and then pour into a well-greased bundt pan and bake for 70 minutes at 350. Make sure that the centrist is done and then to cool the cake completely before inverting onto a serving plate or any serving dish.
To make the frosting, combine the sugar and evaporated milk in a saucepan over normal heat. Cook to soft-ball stage (240-245 degrees) and then remove from all heat. And then Add chocolate chips and stir until totally melted. completely Blend in marshmallow creme. Spread over the cake. Top with more additional chopped Milky Way candy bars if desired. Enjoy!
