Ingredients of Aloo Chaat

  • 4 Potatoes (boiled)
  • 1 cup Chickpea (boiled)
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1/2 cup Tomato (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Onion (chopped)
  • Sev as required
  • 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 2-3 Green chilies
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds (crushed & roasted)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black salt to taste
  • Tamarind sauce as required
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • Ingredients of Katori dough:
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Water as required
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin

Ingredients of plum And Tamarind Sauce

  • 1 cup Plum (soaked overnight & deseed)
  • 1/4 cup Tamarind (soaked overnight & deseed)
  • 1/2 cup Shakar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1 tsp Cumin (crushed)
  • 2-3 cups Water

Directions of Aloo chaat

  1. In a Medium pan heat oil, add boiled & cubed potatoes and fry for 4-5 minutes on medium-high flame. Let it cool.
  2. In a Medium bowl add fried potatoes, onion, tomatoes, coriander leaves, green chilies, cumin, salt, chaat masala, red chili powder and mix everything well.
  3. Now Serve aloo chaat in a fried papri Katori. Top with Fresh yogurt, tamarind sauce, and see.
  4. Garnish with mint leave and your chaat is also ready to serve.
  5. For aloo chana chaat Now add boiled chickpea in aloo chaat.
  6. In a  Medium serving bowl add aloo chana chaat, top it with tamarind and plum sauce.

Directions of tamarind & plum sauce

  1. In a  Medium pan add a dried plum, tamarind pulp, shaker and mix it together.
  2. Then Add salt, black salt, red chili flakes, chaat masala, crushed cumin and mix everything well.
  3. Grind it well, add water and bring to boil and cook for 8-10 minutes.
